This evening I got a chance to watch a CBS show called 'Undercover Boss'. The general concept of the show is to expose bosses to the day-to-day activity of his or her employees. After watching this show, I realized that there are still hard working Americans. Some of the people highlighted in the show were not complex individuals, but embodied the worth ethic of our American forefathers and foremothers. This work ethic encompasses humility, commitment and responsibility. During my short time here in New York, I have seen more examples of lazy, scheming self-entitled workers. So it was refreshing to see people who go into work to actually work. If you haven't gotten a chance to watch this show, please tune in to CBS next Sunday @ 9pm. For those of you out there that are still looking for work, be encouraged. For those of you that have a job and a mouth full of complaints, kiss my ass!
