Responding to President Carter's Comments Re: Racist Comments About President Obama

Yesterday, Jimmy Carter made statements that Wilson's outburst was motivated by racism. Carter also spoke on statements made by the general public such as "we should bury Obama next to Kennedy" and "Obama is a nazi". Madness right? However, these are the type of attacks that are coming from the American people...most of who are white and southern. In the past few months we have allowed this type of rhetoric to rule the airwaves, with no attempt to counter this BS with positive media. I am blaming the media, the general public and those politicians who have funded the rallies orchestrated to promote such lies. I am proud that President Carter was bold enough to call these acts what they really are, racism. We need more responsible leaders like him. None of our black leaders have issued any statements denouncing or countering any of the crap we have seen on TV. So I ask, what are our so-called Black leaders doing with their time? Are they waiting for Obama to fail to suffice their secret jealousy (Sharpton, J. Jacskon, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson..et al) To the politicians who aren't saying a damn thing, I challenge you to do the job you are paid to do, lead. To the fools that have allowed their racist views to cloud their judgment on health care, sit down and shut the fuc* up, you are standing in the way of progress. You are making asses of yourselves and our nation. The world is watching this pony show and debating whether we have made any progress in the area of race relations. I am beginning to wonder myself.
