Call Me Mofo

With the invention of cell phones, people have become more guarded than ever. Cellphones have become a device of avoidance and social filter, and prompts anti-social behavior.

A few days ago, I had a really great online conversation. So I decided to shift the conversation to a telephone conversation. I provided the potential suitor with my cell number, and a few minutes later I get a text. A text? Isn't a text the same as an email? Blah! I think society was just waiting for a invention to help place a wedge in between the person and the rest of society. It's really getting out of hand. I asked why I received a text versus a phone call, and he himself didn't know why. We are living in the last days, and no one is going to call you to tell you so. Geesh!
